Body Found Floating off San Pedro Town Identified as Salvadoran National

Police have identified the body of a man who was found floating off the shore of San Pedro Town on Monday. Earlier this morning, police say that the body was identified as 29-year-old Salvadoran national Jose Diaz. Diaz was positively identified by a salesperson who resides in Hope Creek Village. Diaz was found near a dock behind the Spindrift Hotel around five o’clock, with foam coming out of his mouth. He also had abrasions to his nose, chest, and stomach. Police say that his body was examined and there were no other injuries or signs of physical violence. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
