Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “We do have the shooting in the Hattieville area where a person was shot while at home, he was called out by someone he came to the door and he was shot. The police I know are looking for the suspect in respect to that matter. Yes, that’s him Agustus. I don’t know if he’s still working around Hattieville, but I’ll have to check with OC Hattieville to see if that is the case. And if that is the case, then we need to ensure we get him into custody and let the law take its course.”
Williams added that police are doing what they can in Belize City to stem the recent spate of gang violence. Lewis’s family also reportedly believes he is the John Doe are investigating. Reports are that no one had seen or heard from him two days prior to the body being found.
