
Body Found Near San Pedro Beach: Police Seek Public’s Help in Identification

San Pedro Police are in the process of identifying the body of a man found in the water, close to the beachside this morning. Police responded to an area behind the Spindrift Hotel, just after five o’clock this morning where they encountered the man lying face-down underneath a dock. Further inspection revealed that the man was foaming from the mouth, and had abrasions to the nose, chest and stomach. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Hilberto Romero, says investigators are yet to identify the man but are seeking the public’s assistance in doing so.
ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division: “Around 5.20 a.m. San Pedro police responded to report of a body floating at a dock in San Pedro. Upon their arrival they saw the lifeless body of a male person in the water under the dock. The scene was processed, the person has been removed and so far we have not been able to identify who this person is. We’re seeking assistance from the public to help us identify who this person is. The body had no signs of any physical injury, and a post-mortem will be conducted.”
