Bowen and Bowen is spreading holiday cheer this year with their Jingle Box initiative. The initiative, which began a decade ago with employees, has evolved into a partnership with a number of agencies to provide more for disadvantaged families. According to B&B’s media specialist, John Palacio the initiative will provide a warm and nutritious meal to indigent families for the Christmas season.
The more than two hundred boxes of goods were donated to several charitable organizations that will disperse them among needy families that are a part of their programs. Our news team spoke to Fay Madrid from the World Paediatric Centre and Director of the Hand in Hand Ministry’s Outreach Program, Nadia Armstrong about the impact of today’s donation.
Other recipients of the jingle box initiative include the St. Vincent De Paul Society, Belize Cancer Society, the St. Martin’s Parish and Women’s Department.
