Brad’s Gaming and Government Near Settlement in High Court Case

After more than two years before the Belize High Court, a settlement may finally come between Brad’s Gaming Group Limited and the Government of Belize.  While the details of a possible settlement cannot be made public just yet, the Chief Executive Officer in the Office of the Prime Minister, Narda Garcia, spoke briefly on this issue.

Narda Garcia, CEO (Office of the Prime Minister): “It took a while. We were back and forth between the attorneys. You heard it in the news. I think the past Prime Minister Barrow is their attorney. All I know, and I can report right now, is that we now have received a settlement offer from the company. But I’m not at liberty to say what that is because it’s still in the courts and it’s still with the attorney general, because the suit is against the government of Belize. So that’s where we are.”

Brad’s Gaming Group filed the lawsuit on April 25, 2022 after having his exclusive contract revoked by the Briceno administration, as well as his licenses for Pick-3 and Fantasy 5.
