BSI/ASR Reports Half Capacity as BSCFA Negotiations Remain Unresolved

With the negotiations between the BSCFA and BSI/ASR still very much fluid, BSI/ASR was sure to report that they were still accepting cane from the other associations, and that they would welcome anyone from the BSCFA to deliver cane to the mill.  With BSCFA sitting out on deliveries, the mill is currently working at half capacity due to the volume of sugarcane being delivered to the mill for this crop season.   In a press conference this afternoon, Olivia Carballo-Avilez of BSI/ASR says the other cane farmers outside of the BSCFA are still having their harvest delivered to the factory.
