BTB and FCCA Spread Christmas Cheer to Marginalized Belize City Youths

The Belize Tourism Board (BTB), in partnership with the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), gifted several Belize City youths today. Each year, the organizations partner to spread some Christmas joy through a Christmas party for children, providing them with gifts, food, drinks, and entertainment. The heartwarming tradition continued this year at the House of Culture giving children from marginalized communities the opportunity to experience the joy of Christmas. Director of Cruise and Capacity Development, Lloyd Enriquez, emphasized the need to give back to the community.

Enriquez also touched on the importance of the country’s tourism sector’s rebound, given the positive impacts it brings to the country.

The event saw the participation of 17 volunteers from Belize and 17 from the cruise line.
