Bus Driver Fined for Assault and Property Damage in Road Incident

A bus driver is fined for throwing a pint bottle at another bus. 22-year-old Jeshron Emmanuel Flowers appeared before a magistrate in Court today where he was charged with damage to property and common assault upon Jeromie Samuels. Flowers pleaded guilty. He said that when he was passing the bus from the left driver’s side, the driver accelerated the engine of the bus and he thought that he was going to run over him, which is why he threw the pint bottle of the bus, damaging a window. Flowers admitted to approaching Samuels with a bottle in his hand but that he had no intention of using it. For his guilty plea, Flowers was imposed two custodial sentences. He was fined $500 plus $5.00 of court fine of which he has until April 30 to pay in default to two months imprisonment. Flowers was also fined $600 plus a $5.00 cost of court fine for common assault which he has until May 31 to pay in default to 3 months imprisonment. Allegations are that on Tuesday, Flowers caused damages to the right glass window of a cream 2000 International Bus property to Jeromie Samuels.
