Butane Price Increase: Supplies Control Unit Announces Two Cents Hike

Today, the price per gallon for butane has registered a two cents increase.  The Supplies Control Unit in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise says the price increase is attributed to the higher acquisition cost of both butane and propane, and is now in effect. The import wholesale price now stands at $4.15 per gallon. The retail prices in the villages are $1.34 per pound or $5.85 per gallon. In the cities and towns, the retail price is $1.32 per pound or $5.75 per gallon.
