Butane Prices Drop by 21 Cents Nationwide

Those in the food industry will see some reprieve at the new butane prices.  The price of Liquid Petroleum Gas fell by twenty-one cents country-wide yesterday. The Supplies Control Unit in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise says the import wholesale price everywhere is $3.62 per gallon. The retail prices in the villages are $1.22 per pound or $5.32 per gallon. In the cities and towns, the retail price is $1.19 per pound or $5.22 per gallon. The price adjustment reflects a decrease in the acquisition price of butane, according to the government.
