Caribbean Moves Initiative: Belize Focuses on Improving Workers’ Health

In our continued coverage of the Caribbean Moves initiative that Belize signed onto last week during a meeting of CARICOM’s Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD), today we’ll tell you of the government’s plans to work with employers in improving workers’ health.  Kathleen Sho of the Ministry of Health and Wellness explained to Love News that there is a need for better health awareness and attention in the workplace.

The CARICOM Caribbean Moves was signed onto by all member states last week.
