Cattle Landing Residents Vote on Controversial Cell Tower Installation

Today, residents of Cattle Landing Village, Toledo, came together to decide the fate of a recently constructed cell tower in their community. Last month, several residents were up in arms over the tower’s construction and claimed it would pose a risk to their health. The concerned citizens demanded the tower be removed and were upset about not being consulted by the village council. To remedy the issue, today, the village’s Chairman, Waluco Maheia, held a public meeting in the southern village to allow residents to vote on the matter.

Maheia added that the community is expected to have better signal once the tower is completed.
