Cayo Northeast secures BZ$4.2M from EU for village development

Area Representative for Cayo Northeast has been in the news recently with a refurbished water system in Santa Familia and with proposed road infrastructure planned for the village to accommodate food transportation from Spanish Lookout.  Tonight, he is back in the news after he signed an agreement with the European Union for four point two million dollars.  The funds, according to Habet, will be used in the villages in Cayo Northeast.

According to Minister Habet, the funding will also construct a polyclinic, hurricane shelters and the water system for several villages including Los Tambos.
