The Belize Chamber of Commerce and the NTUCB continue to examine and hammer out issues relating to occupational safety and health for the nation’s workers. The protracted process is to end with a finalised OSH Bill, which has been stalling for years. However, the Chamber and the TUC have made some meaningful steps towards reaching that end goal. Chamber President, Marcello Blake today explained that the chamber now has what he described as a “marked-up” version of the bill. He explained what this means.
The OSH Bill was first tabled in 2014.
