Charges Dropped in Property Damage Case: Domestic Dispute Resolved

A Mahogany Heights man has been charged with damage to property is free after the complainant decided to drop the charges. Thirty-five-year-old, Dexter Rivas appeared in court today, accused of damaging a glass window and light fixture with a total value of three hundred dollars, during a domestic dispute. Rivas pleaded not guilty, and shortly after the complainant, Patricia Parks, told the court she wants no further court action. The incident occurred on Friday, August 11.
