Chinese grocer robbed at gunpoint, one person detained

A Chinese grocer was robbed at gunpoint just before midday today in Corozal Town. Police blotter indicate that a fair-skinned man entered the store, took out a firearm and demanded money. The Sixth Street store owner, 61-year-old, Weishi Liu, complied and handed over three hundred and fifty Belize dollars. Love News understands that a 26-year-old resident of 11th Avenue, Corozal Town, has been detained.
