The relaunch of health services in Chunox Village, Corozal District took place over the weekend. It is an event that will see residents from the village and neighbouring communities having access to discounted consultations, medication and medical exams. Dr Deysi Mendez, the Technical Officer for the National Health Insurance Scheme spoke on the launch and the beneficiaries.
In an interview with the Press Office, Dr Deysi Mendez, explained the mandate and objectives of the National Health Insurance scheme.
This relaunch is one in a series as the Government announced that they would be rolling out the health centres across the country.
