Completed Road Works Improve York Street’s Infrastructure in Belize City

Residents and motorists will now have a better experience traversing York Street thanks to completed road works that were celebrated today. The narrow motorway was fully cemented and will now be less prone to flooding. The street is one of thirty that have been renovated this year by the Belize City Council. Fort George Area Representative Henry Charles Usher and Belize City Mayor Bernard Wagner spoke about the importance of improving the city’s infrastructure. 

The council’s aim is to rehabilitate ninety streets by the end of this year.
