Today, Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, addressed this broad daylight murder. He says the incident could be linked to drugs but could very well be retaliation concerning one of Reneau’s previous offences.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “Well we believe the one with Carl Reneau may have been gang related and could also be a retaliation for previous incidents that he have had with the law and so we we have some suspects we’re looking at likewise but again it will be difficult unless people who were around would speak but you heard the interview of the family member yesterday how they described him to be a bad bad bad man, at least that’s an honest one right ? They do not try to cover the behavior of the now deceased but as we have always said before every life lost is a significant loss to a family and so we will do our best to find out who is responsible and try to bring them to justice.”
