In speaking further on last night’s shooting, Police Commissioner told the media that the incident stemmed from a separate shooting over the weekend where well-known gang figure Patrick “Patto” Jones was shot at. Jones was driving on Mopan Street when a gunman opened fire at him resulting in his vehicle overturning a few feet away. That incident, Compol Williams says, led to this week’s spate of gun violence.
