Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams has confirmed that the US Federal Investigation Bureau (FBI) will be enhancing the surveillance footage of Kassman Gill’s callous murder in hopes of bringing his killer to justice. The minor’s family had told the media earlier this month that they are begging for justice to be delivered in the student’s killing. The family went as far as pleading for the FBI’s help. That plea was heard and the FBI is here to help. Additionally, the FBI will be probing into the murder of fifteen-year-old Dwayne Gabourel.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I’m not too familiar with the second part in terms of releasing the footage. I will have to look at it from a legal standpoint to see if it is that we would be in a position to do so. But certainly in terms of the first aspect we will put together the package of footages and we’ll be asking the FBI to enhance and analyze the footage for us so that is being worked out.”
The Gill family had also requested for the surveillance footage to be released to the public in hopes of identifying his killer. Police Commissioner said, however, that he would consider the request but there are legal factors to consider.
