Additional frustrations expressed by the Police Commissioner has to do with the cooperation of the public when it comes to crimes and violence. As has been the challenge for many decades, Commissioner Williams says the public is not outraged enough at the crimes because there is still reluctance from the public in working with the police, referring specifically to.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “My people we’re all outraged from the death of Dwayne Gabourel and as much as we’re outraged some of us have the powers in our hands to put the perpetrators behind bars for good. So I would wish that they would take their outrage and turn it into action by cooperating with the investigators so that we can show this killer how outraged we are at this action and make sure that he goes to prison where he belongs. So I’m hoping that we will get there I personally have spent a number of hours on the ground working with investigators to see how we can get what we need and we’re not giving up I’m optimistic that were going to make an arrest and it will come very shortly.”
