Convicted Murderer Hildebrandt Codd Still Evading Police, May Have Fled Country

Another man that the police are on the hunt for is thirty-six-year-old, Hildebrandt Codd. The escapee was convicted in absentia for the murder of Densmore Bowman last year and remains on the lam. In December, Codd escaped from lawful custody while appearing at the Belize City High Court. He is yet to be located despite efforts made by the police to track him down. And according to Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, Codd may have fled the country. 

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “We have still not been able to locate Hildebrand Codd. We continue to look for him and we hope that we can find him but at this time w have not been able to.”

Reporter: Do you believe he’s still in the country ?
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I got some information this morning that he may have fled the country, I’m not sure but we still believe that he may be in the country.”

Codd is considered dangerous, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police.
