Cop targets man out west

The Belize Police Department has charged one of their own for a shooting incident that left one man injured. It happened in the wee hours of Monday morning in Roaring Creek Village, Cayo. Around 3 o’clock, police officer Jarrell Young and his girlfriend were allegedly involved in a domestic dispute at the home of Isiah Logan. Logan intervened, police were called, and Young was removed from the property. But, around 4 o’clock, the cop allegedly returned and fired three shots into Logan’s bedroom window, grazing his middle finger. This morning, Young was formally charged with aggravated assault, wounding, and damage to property.
