Police in Corozal have formally arrested and charged 34-year-old Armando Coye and 29-year-old Abigail Coye for possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply. The charges stem from an operation conducted on October 9, when officers visited the couple’s residence in San Roman Village. During a search of the property, police discovered 1.3 grams of crack cocaine. Armando, a Belizean farmer, and Abigail, a Belizean domestic, were both detained and escorted to the Corozal Police Station, where they are expected to appear in court to answer to the charges.
