Corozal Town Council’s Summer Program Engages Youth in Community Service

Sixty youths from Corozal Town performing community service through the Corozal Town Council’s annual summer program. Corozal Mayor Rigoberto Vellos told Love News that the program launched on Monday. He explained that the program provides students with a stipend as well as life skills training from various organizations. 

Vellos recently told Love News that the hard work of the council and the impact it has had on the lives of Corozal residents will be its legacy headed into the 2024 municipal elections.
