Love News spoke with Ferguson’s mother, Sheree Sanchez who told Love News that her son was gang-affiliated and that may have been the cause of his demise.
Sheree Sanchez, Mother of Deceased: “I’m trying to get strong and be strong for the rest of the kids so that they don’t have to do any craziness or something. I just want to put my little boy under the ground and forget about everything. I know I’m not going to forget about him but the good lord will take care of everything for me you know and I don’t want any problem or I don’t want to retaliate or I don’t want to do those things; he [God] will do it for me so that’s all I have to say. I loved him dearly. He was the best thing they ever took from me. He didn’t say mommy nobody is watching him or messing with him because I know he left happy at Hattieville. happy, so he would never come down here in front of me sad. He was always running joke and always hugging me because he works over there so he would come down in the morning time then go over there to work so sometimes he would stand up right there and talk to me and sometimes I would come down to buy and I see him I would talk to him and I would go but he never told me that anyone was threatening him. I don’t know if he would tell his brothers but he never told me.”
Ferguson leaves behind one daughter.
