Cuban Miguel Diaz-Canel makes historic trip to Belize

Cuba’s president Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez is expected to make an official visit to Belize in the coming days. The announcement was made by the Government of Belize, saying that the President will arrive in Belize City on February 12. The programme includes a Special Sitting of the National Assembly, a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister John Briceño, as well as the signing of two agreements. The visit will mark the first by a Cuban President to Belize.
