Dangriga Town Council Renews Collective Bargaining Agreement with SWU

The Dangriga Town Council signed a Collective bargaining agreement yesterday with the Southern Workers Union (SWU). The agreement expired last year, and after weeks of negotiations, today it was renewed. Dangriga Mayor Robert Mariano signed the CBA along with SWU’s President Glen Lewis. Stann Creek Correspondent Harry Arzu spoke to both men about the importance of the agreement.

The CBA takes immediate effect.
