Dangriga Town on the Path to Becoming Belize’s Premier Tourism Destination

The culture capital, Dangriga Town, is in the process of being transformed into one of the country’s premier tourism destinations, according to the municipality’s Area Representative, Dr. Louis Zabaneh. The coastal community was visited this week by the Minister of Tourism, who met with tourism stakeholders to discuss ways of improving the town’s tourism product. Zabaneh explained that the visit also served as an opportunity to provide an update on the development of a passenger port and marina at the once-abandoned Commerce Bight Port.
