Dangriga’s Main Bridge Officially Named the Dr Ted Aranda Bridge

The main bridge in Dangriga has been officially named as the Dr Ted Aranda Bridge.  The naming of the bridge coincided with Dr Aranda’s birthday yesterday.  The honoree was the Area Representative for that municipality, and has been accredited for several initiatives, not only in Dangriga, but across the country.  Mayor Robert Mariano told Love News that the idea began as a request from Dr Aranda’s family.

Dr Aranda served three separate terms as Dangriga’s Area Representative under the umbrella of the People’s United Party.  He passed away in July 2022.
