Over the weekend, a cherished tradition rooted in Latin American Culture, known as Los Finados or Day of the Dead was celebrated. It originates from the Yucatec Maya who referred to it as “Hanal Pixan Nol” meaning “Food for the Soul”. This holiday celebrated on November 1 and 2, is a time when families gather to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. Jaleeza Roberts reports.
