Deborah Rogers Expected to Be Appointed as Belize’s New Chief Magistrate


Reports to our newsroom is that Deborah Rogers will be appointed as the new Chief Magistrate in Belize. Rogers has been serving in the magistracy for almost ten years and is currently posted in Orange Walk Town.  Rogers is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill where she attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in 2012. She then attended the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica where she attained a Legal Education Certificate in 2014.  Rogers proceeded by pursuing an LLM in General Law at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland on a Chevening scholarship.
