Defamation Case Resolved: Shyne Barrow to Apologize to PM Briceno

Leader of the Opposition, Moses Shyne Barrow and Prime Minister John Briceno have come to an agreement in the courts in a defamation suit.  The two politicians, via their respective attorneys, have agreed that Barrow will apologize to Briceno for comments uttered on a local talk show back in March 2022.  Once Briceno accepts the apology, the matter would then be deemed as dismissed with both parties bearing their own legal expenses.  The ruling is dated today and was handed down by Justice Rajiv Goonetilleke.
