Delivery man involved in police chase dies

Love News has confirmed Jesus Sacul, who was injured during a police pursuit, succumbed to injuries at the NRH. Around 7:30, police say they noticed two men on a motorcycle leaving a home known to sell drugs and observed an object resembling a firearm on one of their waist. Cops claim to have put on their lights and siren to stop the men but they sped off and a chase ensued. Police allege that the driver of the motorcycle lost control on the Belize Corozal Road and slammed into the front of their mobile. The men, identified as 19-year-old Jairo Guerra and Sacul, were transported to the NRH, where Sacul died. Police say that before the accident the passenger was seen throwing an object to the side of the Highway and claim to have found a pistol in the area. Love News understands that residents reported hearing multiple gunshots during the pursuit. The details surrounding Sacul’s death are forthcoming.
