The Department of Youth Services (DYS) launched a pilot project today at the HUB center that will jump-start the dream of young entrepreneurs. Kevin Cadle, Director of the DYS explained that the project is aimed at helping youths who own small businesses, to gain exposure and develop their entrepreneurial skills. Thirteen stalls have been built to hold business owners who offer different services, for only fifty dollars a month. Love News was at the official opening of the Entre Hub on Magazine Road in Belize, and spoke with Director Cadle, who registered just how much of an achievement this can be for the future of Belize.

Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Youth, referred to the opening of the hub as an exciting start to what can be rolled out countrywide.

The stalls are being leased for a year and will include capacity building for the young entrepreneurs.
