Deputy Prime Minister, Patrick Faber, is out of the country to participate in a regional workshop in El Salvador. The workshop is to address issues in the region. The meeting, being held by States of the Central American Integration System (SICA), allows for political leaders to have an open mind and be able to voice opinions on topics such as poverty, climate change, natural disasters, sustainable development, security, gender equality, and other growing issues. This is being done to promote peace, freedom, democracy and development for all countries in Central America. The Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by Margaret Juan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Belize in El Salvador.
