Desperate Widow Speaks out about Maltreatment at the Hands of Deceased Husband’s Family

Thirty-one-year-old Honduran-Belizean, Veronica Hamze, is fervently trying to return to Belize with her three daughters. She has spent the better part of two years inside the confines of four walls, as her deceased husband’s family refuses to let them come back. They have been enduring months upon months of maltreatment and getting into quarrels with the family. Today, reporter Giovanna Moguel, spoke with Hamze so she could give a firsthand account of what has been transpiring. Here is what she gathered:
