Documentary on Moses “Shyne” Barrow’s Life in the Works
Leader of the Opposition, Moses Barrow, is in the spotlight for Disney Films as an international team is in-country filming a documentary of his life. The press encountered a portion of the production this morning at the UDP Secretariat in Belize City. Barrow closed the deal earlier this year with Walt Disney and its subsidiaries, ESPN and Andscape, to produce a bio-documentary and a bio-tv series. According to Barrow, this production will bring more attention to Belize as a tourist destination.
Moses “Shyne” Barrow, Leader of the Opposition: “My life is worthy of a motion picture, a TV series and a documentary and so I was able to, as you guys know, do a deal with Walt Disney and their subsidiary Anscape. Yeah, well, I noh sell dreams. It is always real whenever I present something to the Belizean people and so I am happy. We’re happy that we’ve begun production in Belize on the bio documentary, the Shyne bio documentary and so we’ve been shooting since yesterday and we continue throughout the week.”
Reporter: How do you respond to the criticism that here it is. It’s laid bare now.
Moses “Shyne” Barrow, Leader of the Opposition: “There will be criticism that I have a… “
Reporter: The UDP is just an accessory in the great story of Shyne Barrow.
Moses “Shyne” Barrow, Leader of the Opposition: “My goodness.”

Moses “Shyne” Barrow, Leader of the Opposition: “My goodness. What a prop to have. What a costly prop. My goodness. Yeah only someone with perverted thoughts such as yourself would conjure those types of hallucinations. But no, this is a great opportunity for Belize. No matter what happens, even if we don’t win an Oscar or an Emmy, Belize will be marketed and promoted like never before. And it’s not going to cost the taxpayers a million dollars.”
Executive Producer for the documentary is DJ Khaled and Roc Nation. It is expected to be released in 2024.
