Dr. Babb Launches New Children’s Book on Budgeting

Financial literacy advocate Dr. Carol Babb launched a new book to teach children the importance of budgeting. The new publication, Jacito Learns to Budget, is the third in a series of books aimed at teaching the fundamentals of financial literacy in a fun and simple format. The official launch was held on Saturday at the Holy Redeemer Credit Union’s open day in Belize City. Dr. Babb says that the series will equip children with the skills to make responsible financial decisions as adults, but that adults can also benefit from the material. She also noted that she intends to continue building upon the series.

The other books in the series are Jacito Learns to Save and Jacito Opens an Account at HRCU.
