Dramatic Turn in Robbery: Police Nab Five, Including Insider, in Western Diaries Truck Heist on Burrell Boom Road

Yesterday, police detained four men for robbing a Western Diaries truck that was heading towards the Burrell Boom/Hattieville Road around 3:30 p.m. According to reports, the group stopped the truck under the guise of purchasing a bag of ideals and held the two men onboard at gunpoint. The robbers also punched the men several times before entering the truck and stealing over four thousand dollars and the driver’s phone. The thieves then made off with the stolen cash in a white vehicle that was awaiting. However, their getaway was thwarted by police at the mile 4 checkpoint on the George Price highway. Police then searched the men, finding the stolen cash and cell phone that belonged to one of the victims. Officers then made a startling discovery when they opened the phone and saw a conversation between one of the victims and the bandits. Police then detained one of the employees along with the four men, all of whom are expected to be charged.
