Drug Trafficking Trial Adjourned Again for Roger Kenrick Bowen

The drug trafficking trial of Roger Kenrick Bowen continued in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today but ended in another adjournment. Bowen, represented by attorney Oscar Selgado, is charged with a single count of possession of controlled drugs with the intent to supply to another. The prosecutor requested the adjournment stating that there is one witness left to call before the prosecution closes its case. The request was granted and the next court date was set for August 25. Bowen is charged in connection with nine hundred-seventy-one grams of marijuana, stashed inside a refrigerator in his home. Police made the bust back in April 2020. Bowen maintains that he is innocent.
