There was a drowning this afternoon in western Belize. Reports reaching Love News are that 21-year-old, Irlan Oliver Mesh was in a canoe on the Macal River heading to his workplace from San Antonio Village to Duplooys establishment in the Cayo District. The incident occurred just after midday today; the canoe reportedly overturned and cased Mesh to be thrown in the water where he drowned. Mesh lies at the San Ignacio Morgue awaiting a post mortem examination.
