Elderly Fisherman Missing for Over Two Weeks; Family Seeks Public’s Help

An elderly fisherman from Mullins River in the Stann Creek district is missing and his family is hoping that the public can help to locate him. Sixty-three-year-old Sandy Cherrington was last seen more than two weeks ago when we went on a fishing trip. Concerns mounted after his dory was found near Paradise Shrimp Farm on December 19, along with some fishing lines and his ice box. His sister, Pamela Cherrington, says that she still hopes to that he can be found alive, but she isn’t holding on to hope given how long he’s been missing

Sandy Cherrington lived alone and did not have any children. Anyone who knows of Cherrington’s whereabouts is urged to call either 652-8551 or report it to the nearest police station.
