Entrepreneurship Day at ITVET Stann Creek Showcases Promising Small Businesses

Entrepreneurs from ITVET in the south gathered this morning for a special Entrepreneurship Day, an initiative aimed at supporting and testing the viability of small businesses. The event saw a collaborative effort between various government agencies, offering resources to aspiring business owners.  The trainees, many of whom are already operating small enterprises, used the event as a real-world test to gauge the profitability and sustainability of their businesses. They showcased products and services ranging from handmade crafts to food and technology solutions. Gwendolyn Garcia, Manager of Stann Creek ITVET, highlighted the significance of the initiative, emphasizing how it bridges the gap between training and real-world business operations.
