Estevan Perrera Withdraws From UDP Belize Rural South Convention

Businessman Estevan Perrera Sr. has decided to withdraw from the upcoming United Democratic Party caretaker convention for Belize Rural South. Perrera, who has tried his hand at politics as an independent, via the People’s Democratic Movement, had considered joining forces with the UDP at the invitation of Party Leader Moses Shyne Barrow. But in a letter sent to the UDP’s Party Chairman, Alberto Agusut, today, Perrera says that he has made the difficult decision to put his political aspirations on hold at this time. Perrera told our newsroom that it simply isn’t the right time, since he has business ventures he must attend to.

Perrera says that he will be pursuing a long-time dream of opening up a professional haunted house in Belize to serve locals and tourists alike.
