Families of Missing Cousins Continue Search After Abandoned Car Found

It’s been just over a week since the families of 37-year-old Marvin Cante and 32-year-old Juan Raymundo lost contact with them, but the hope remains that the men would be found alive. The cousins were last heard from on Wednesday, November 27, but then they stopped answering calls and messages. To make matters worse the rental car they had been driving was found abandoned near Mile 24 on the George Price Highway. Elmer Cante, Marvin’s brother, and Juan’s cousin, says the men have seemingly vanished without a trace. Cante said that searches have been conducted in various locations, as far west as Benque Viejo.  Additionally, he noted that the Police seem to have no leads as well.

Elmer Cante, Relative of Missing Man: “No, nothing, nothing. We haven’t found them yet. Nothing at all. We don’t have no updates because we’ve already searched all over, all the places that we thought that they were left there but nothing. We went to the John Smith Road, Burrell Boom, the Philip Goldson Highway, Coastal Road, Hummingbird Highway, Valley of Peace and all those areas all the way to Benque and nothing. We’re just asking the public if they could, if they see something or know something just come up and say something. That’s what we want, find them alive. That’s the most important thing and yeah but to me I want them back it doesn’t matter how. Like I said we’d just want the public if they know something or saw them come up and help us find our loved ones because his daughter and their sons really miss them.”

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Marvin Cante and Juan Raymundo is urged to contact Elmer Cante at 634-0114 or report it to the police by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
