Family Feud Turns Fatal: Belize City Man Killed in Home Shooting

A Belize City man was killed last night after an argument between him, and his brother-in-law escalated to shots being fired. Police say Stephen Jorgenson was at home on Rio Bravo Crescent when his brother-in-law arrived at the home and demanded Jorgenson and his family to leave the home. The man then pointed a handgun at Jorgenson’s wife and her children before firing one shot at Jorgensen. Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero says by the time police arrived on the scene Jorgenson was dead, and his killer had fled.

Jorgenson was a cab driver.
