Love News understands that the fight was as a result of a long-standing family dispute. Blair told the Court that when Pou ripped out his eyes, she uttered the words quote, “this is because you said you would burn down my house” unquote. Meanwhile, Budd and Swift have denied the allegations stating that they were not present at the crime scene when the attack occurred. In addressing the jurors, attorney Bradley said that Blair was lying about what happened and that for someone to pluck out another’s eye, they would need to be in proximity. All 9 jurors found the women guilty while 8 of them found Fuentes guilty. Justice Pilgrim said that the offense for which the trio was charged was one of very serious nature and remanded them to the Belize Central Prison until May 31 when a mitigation plea will be heard.
