A family living on the BDF Price Barracks lost everything when a fire gutted their house. It happened on Monday and fortunately no one was hurt. Commander of the B.D.F., Brigadier General David Jones told us more.
“Yes we had a fire on the camp; one of our families’ sustained complete damage of their belongings so we are in the process of relocating them to another house and replacing the furniture. We won’t be able to replace their personal belongings but the furniture and equipment that are required inside the house we are in the process of replacing all of them for the family that lost them.”
“Are you able to say perhaps what caused that fire?”
“The investigation from the fire department is not over but we strongly believe it was an electrical fire.”
